Lab

susruta

A wide range of instruments like Travelling Microscope, Newtons Ring experiments , Spectrometer, Polarimeter, etc are provided in our Physics lab. The demonstrations to understand various principles of light and optics are carried out by subject experts .

Our mechanical Lab is equipped with the surfacing machine and its components for the students to learn the art of surfacing an optical lens to the desired curvature /power. This gives them a better understanding of the mechanism on correction of refractive errors. Students are guided under an optical trainer and expected to individually design an optical lens to the accuracy.

A refraction room, well equipped with all the equipments required by an optometrists to conduct the eye exam is provided. Subject experts from various department in optometry will conduct the sessions apart from classrooms

Anatomy & physiology slides / picture /model /video demonstartions are conducted from time to time by the lectrurer / Trainer.
